JOB DESCRIPTION and DUTIES

  • Sanitize building
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum classrooms, restrooms, hallways, blue building, stairs, and office space, wash windows, remove snow.
  • Capable of running auto scrubber, buffer, pressure washer, able to climb ladder.
  • Empty trash and garbage containers – inside and out.
  • Lock up buildings.
  • Other duties as assigned

The Salary Range for the paraeducator is Min $17.51 – Max $17.51 per hour. Substitutes will accrue 1 hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked.  Substitutes who work 630 hours will become benefit eligible for the remainder of the school year.  Standard benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • S. Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid drivers license
  • Prefer previous custodial experience
  • Must be responsible/reliable individual
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

 

Verification of identity and United States work authorization must be completed before employment commences. The successful candidate for this position must be fingerprinted. Employment is contingent upon clearance by the Washington State Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
